9 Things To Do in Santorini, Greece

9 Things To Do in Santorini, Greece

Hi Friends!

Last week, I sent you a post about 8 things to do in Athens, Greece...and told you to anticipate a second post about the Greek islands. As promised, we now have 9 things to do in Santorini!

When people say they're visiting the Greek islands, I automatically assume they're going to Santorini. It's arguably the most famous, with its picturesque sunset, whitewashed buildings, and blue-domed churches lining the cliffs.

I couldn't let another summer go by without providing my readers with some of the best things to do on this iconic island.

A few things you'll read about in this post:

  • Visiting Oia and Fira, 2 of the best places to watch the sunset
  • Doing a cliffside wine tasting (Greece is famous for its white wine!)
  • Swimming in hot springs
  • Hiking an active volcano

Wait...an active volcano?! Most people don't know that Santorini got its shape as the result of a volcanic eruption many years ago. Nowadays, you are able to hike the (still active!) volcano, which automatically makes you the coolest person I know ;).

What's Coming Next?

Keeping with the summer on the coastline theme, my next 2 posts will be about the Amalfi Coast. I don't know about you, but when I think of Italy, I think of the views and the food.

My first post (publishing 4/15) will be about hiking the Path of the Gods, which is an absolute must-do for anybody who is traveling to the Amalfi Coast.

And if you'll be visiting Positano, you absolutely have to do the La Tagliata cooking class. My second post (publishing 4/22) talks about why this was hands-down one of my favorite life experiences ever.

The Best Things To Do in Barcelona's Gothic Quarter The Gothic Quarter Hi Friends! Lately, I've been trying to revamp some of my older blog posts to make them more concise and easier to follow. I realized one of the posts that really needed some TLC was my post about Barcelona. It was long, clunky, and just...well...overwhelming. Once I dove in, I noticed the section about the Gothic Quarter was looking particularly stressful. I knew with all the info I had in there, it would take me no time...

8 Things To Do in Athens, Greece The Parthenon Hi Friends! April has me dreaming of warmer weather and the beach...and what better beaches are there than in Greece? I know what you're thinking...."Athens isn't on the beach!" And you're right, it isn't. But if you want to island hop to places like Santorini or Mykonos, then Athens is likely the city you'll be flying into if you're arriving from the U.S. If you're flying into Athens, you're likely staying at least one night...so you might as...

"How Do You Afford to Travel All The Time?" Amalfi Coast, Italy Hi Friends! The weather is starting to get warmer, which can only mean one thing: vacation season will be here before we know it! As someone who travels often and also travels for their "job," you can technically say that every season is vacation season for me. Which begs the question...how do I manage to travel so much? Amsterdam, Netherlands The internet and social media will tell you that travel influencers are constantly on...
