The Brussels itinerary question I always get asked...

How Many Days Do You REALLY Need in Brussels, Belgium?

Hi Friends!

I recently took a trip to Belgium for the first time, and couldn't wait to tell you about it! Before I left, I was trying to figure out how to split my time between 3 of its most popular cities: Brussels, Brugge, and Ghent. I knew I'd be arriving into Brussels first, but I had heard mixed reviews about Belgium's capital city. Some people said it was cool...others were more meh.

Of course, I didn't want to skip Brussels completely, but I also didn't want to spend a ton of time there if it wasn't actually a vibe. So that begs the question: How many days do you actually need to spend in Brussels?

In this post, you'll read about:

  • How many days I spent in Brussels (spoiler: I thought it was the perfect amount of time)
  • The one area of the city I consider a must-see
  • Why I would 10/10 go back for the fries (hint: there's a secret ingredient!)
