Ever Wondered What It's Like to Visit Salem for Halloween?

Hi Friends!

Spooky season is my favorite time of year, and Salem, MA has been a bucket list trip for me for decades. I finally got to visit Salem in 2024, and I will never forget how excited I was! I arrived on my broomstick (j/k, I flew into the Boston airport), my itinerary was set, and my suitcase packed with all-black attire.

Although I loved my trip overall, I've gotta be honest and say there were certain things about Salem that left me slightly disappointed. Don't get me wrong - I would absolutely recommend fellow Halloween lovers to visit, but I think the most important thing about taking a trip to Salem is setting your expectations.

So, I created a post about 7 things I'd want you to know if you were visiting Salem.

Even if you don't have plans to visit Salem, you may be interested in what it's really like to visit! This post takes you beyond the spells and theatrics and gives you a behind the scenes look at the town itself - plus, my own personal thoughts about visiting Salem at Halloween.
