I have SO much to tell you about Japan...

I FINALLY Visited Tokyo, Japan After 3 Years (and I'm Obsessed!)

Hi Friends!

I feel like I've been trying to plan a trip to Japan for the past 3 years, and somehow, it hasn't worked out...until now! Last month, my friend Rachel and I took a trip to Japan and visited Kyoto and Osaka, and then I did Tokyo solo.

Although I'm currently writing posts about all 3 cities, I'm introducing you to Tokyo first since it's the one you're likely most familiar with. In this guide, I'm taking you through everything I did as a solo traveler - from the neon lights to the dreamy alleyways to the restaurants with live owls 👀. Plus, I'll talk about the one safety tip I'd give to anyone traveling to Tokyo on their own.

If Tokyo has been on your travel bucket list (or you just love seeing a city through the eyes of a solo traveler), I think you're going to love this one.

Does it feel like I've been a little MIA recently? If you're thinking "YES" - well, it's because it's true. I've had a lot of life changes come through in the last 2 months that I've been trying to juggle, and as exciting as they've been, they've also taken time away from me writing to you. Wait...what life changes am I talking...

When I was planning my trip to Japan, I thought Osaka would just be a quick stop between Tokyo and Kyoto. I mean, let's face it: Tokyo is legendary, and Kyoto is historic. TBH, I was expecting Osaka to be my least favorite city out of the 3. Let's just say I was wrong. Osaka ended up being one of the most vibrant, fun, and delicious...

A few days ago, I introduced you to my first Controversial Business Strategy and told you how I don't outsource my content. While that business practice likely won't last forever (because it takes a LOT to do it all and your girl is TIRED!) - it has been instrumental in developing different skills that have benefitted me throughout this journey. Speaking of journey, Controversial...
