If You Want to Be Luckier in Life, Start Increasing Your Surface Area
Hi Friends!
In honor of St. Patrick's Day, I felt it was only right to write a post about...well...LUCK!
You know how there are those people who just seem like they're luckier than others? Some people just seemed to stumble into the right opportunities, meet the right people, or be in the right place at the right time. Meanwhile, the rest of us are just…waiting.
It all seems somewhat unfair. But recently, I came across a concept that completely changed how I think about all of it: increasing your surface area for luck.
The idea is simple, yet life-changing. The more you put yourself out there, try new things, and share what you’re doing with others, the more opportunities you create for “lucky” moments to find you. (In other words…maybe luck isn’t so random after all!)
In this post, you'll read about:
- What “surface area for luck” actually means
- How I’ve unintentionally used this concept in my own travels and life
- Simple ways you can start increasing your own surface area (starting now!)
Wishing you a little extra luck today!
XO - Gina 💚
