The Kyoto Temples That Stole My Heart

6 of the Best Temples to Visit in Kyoto, Japan

Hi Friends!

I took my first trip Japan last month with my friend Rachel and was absolutely mind-blown. Between the food, the culture, and the people, it's safe to say Japan is a country I will definitely be returning to in the future.

Rachel and I started our trip in Kyoto, the Japanese city with the most temples. Visiting the temples and shrines and learning about different religious practices was one of the things I was most excited about for this trip, because it's so different from Western culture. Spoiler alert: it ended up being one of my favorite parts of the trip!

In this post, you'll read about:

  • The 6 temples I recommend visiting in Kyoto
  • Which temple has a hidden bamboo forest
  • The difference between a temple and a shrine
  • ...and more!

5 Controversial Things I Did as a Blogger/Online Business Owner That Helped Make Me Successful

In my last email, I mentioned that I'd be pulling back the curtain to reveal 5 controversial things I did as a blogger and online business owner that helped me grow a successful business. Rather than cram everything into one email, I'm breaking it into a 5-part series so I can dive deeper into each lesson and show you exactly how I grew and monetized my travel blog.

If you've ever wondered what actually goes on behind the scenes of running an online business, I think you're going to enjoy this series. Some of these decisions go against conventional business advice - but they ended up making all the difference. I can't wait to share what I've learned with you!

As always, if you have any questions, feel free to reply to this email or message me on Instagram.

❤️, Gina

I knew I'd be arriving into Brussels first, but I had heard mixed reviews about Belgium's capital city. Some people said it was...
